This one's my latest project, which I am very proud to say that most of it is almost complete! All that remains is the NPC system, and the outcomes (win, lose)!
Information about the game is given below.
The gameplay of Defend the Statue from the Rogue Noobs, or simply DTSFTRN, is a game where, you guessed it, have to defend the statue from the rogue noobs. This game was originally going to support multiplayer, but due to ROBLOX and their publishing restrictions, I'm locked to requiring 500 active 16+ players playing my game in a 1 month timespan. We all know that's not going to happen. Anyway, the game now will have noobs of different classes, such as Default, Engineer, Trapper, Demolitionist, and Commander to try and get through your fortress which protects the golden statue!
Place parts, and configure them to apply effects such as Burning, Electricity, or Poison to any noob that passes it's way. These parts may also be used as defense, and you may create fortresses to stall noobs from capturing the statue. After all, that's your only purpose in this war. The MEGA WALL is one of my favorite strategies, creating countless layers of walls to block Noobs from entering. This is a good strategy, but the Demolitionist and Commander classes will easily wreck this defense strategy. So, I recommend not using it in the end-game.
Classes are what define the backbone of the game, they are what makes the NPCs unique. Honestly, I didn't really have any ideas for what I should've added here, and only added this to make my website look professional, neat, clean. Sorry for the waste of bytes!
The default class is the first ever class you'll encounter in this awesome game! It has default stats (100 HP, 16 WalkSpeed, 50 JumpPower) and can be killed easily. Just 5 strikes with the Ol' Reliable and they'll be on the floor!
The engineer specializes in disarming your traps by building sentries, and occassionally the Demolitionist if under dangerous circumstances. He has less than average health, and more WalkSpeed.
The trapper specializes in, you guessed it, placing spike traps to disarm YOUR demolitionists and to rid you of movement options. He has way less health, and way less WalkSpeed, making him an easy target with ranged weapons
This robot makes sure your life is hell! He always shoots rockets, and reloads fast. His health is very high, however his WalkSpeed is significantly low. Ranged weaponry might not always be able to get him good, as he knows who is attacking. If you are spotted, tough luck, because he will activate emergency rockets which WILL lock onto you and kill you the moment it hits you. That's an easy way to chicken out though, as he will shut down right after, due to the high amount of energy usage. However, your respawn time will be double and defense strength will be halved, making sure the noobs can steal the golden statue!
The commander boosts every noob in a 32 stud radius' stats by 25%. He may summon airstrikes, which WILL get rid of your defenses, no matter the strength. When he has boosted the stats of his teammates, his health is significantly lower, making him an easy target. I prefer you use the Rocket Launcher to easily get rid of him.
An image of all the classes are given below!
Description: The Mega Wall is a strategy in which you create a HUGE wall made out of a significant amount of parts. This strategy may crash non-beefy computers, so this is a (maybe?) massive win for the beefy computer side. This strategy WILL stall other classes for a long time, before Commanders and Demolitionist(s) arrive.
Description: Zap Hell is a strategy in which you create a HUGE floor made out of a significant amount of electric parts. This strategy will stall default classes for a LONG time, before Engineers arrive. This strategy is also compatible with all the other effects
Description: Poisongrave is a strategy in which you create a HUGE floor made out of a significant amount of poison parts. Proceeding with this strategy may lead to many noobs' death, before Engineers arrive. They're like thorns and they make this huge ring of sentries. I hate them.
Description: I didn't really have a creative name for this one. Basically, big floor, big lava, big burn, big adrenaline. Also the name is meant to represent that one voiceline for Super Mario. Hope this doesn't get me into a lawsuit. Nintendo Ninjas will probably have me executed soon
